About us
Every child deserves the chance to learn and grow.
YoungMinds ET is a US nonprofit supporting students in need across Ethiopia, with offices in Silver Spring, Maryland and Addis Ababa.
Our story
We help students in Ethiopia access education by supporting the housing, meals, care, and learning resources they need to stay in school.
We welcome students, families, volunteers, and supporters of all faiths and none. Spiritual schooling is optional and chosen by each family. Access to support does not depend on religious participation.
Our vision is a future where every child in Ethiopia can learn, grow, and shape their future, regardless of background or belief.
What guides us
Educate
We help students get the resources they need to stay in school.
Empower
Students and local partners lead. We listen and back them.
Create change
We plan in years, not campaigns, and report what we spend.
